Fatal Flaws

Fatal Flaws

Bring truth to imperfections

You can’t exercise your demons if you only run from mistakes. You carry burdens but never been able to life the weight.

Tell me it all. The sound of your voice is like therapy.

Love without consequences philosophically speaking I think it’s referred to as being unconditional.

Fatal flaws

I rather you scream at me then not talk to me at all.

Give royal truths that way you never have to sit on a throne of lies.

I don’t want you thinking this will lead to wasted years and borrowed time.

If love can give you wings then I want you high for life.

Travel through your peaks and your valleys and still adore you after your prime.

Tell me all your fatal flaws. The things you haven’t gotten over yet because you thought no one could love you for.

Hug me with that pain so I can show you that you have no reason to be ashamed.

Shine light on the childhood trauma you tried to hide in shade.

I’ve already taken you to A Place Among The Trees.

It’s hard to make a home when you always felt like a runaway.

Trust me with all those doubts and insecurities that run through your brain.

So I kiss every blemish and tell you a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

You determined not to make the same mistakes again.

In my soul I feel that

You looking at scars from past love as if they still open wounds

Time will heal that

I think I met you for a reason other than just chance

Time will reveal that

So don’t let doubt be your fatal flaw

And I won’t making losing you be my fault.

In this life the days go quick but if we are sharing a bed I’m hoping for the longest night

The stars shine brighter with you by my side.

I could meet you anywhere in the world and we’ll make it feel like paradise.

You are breakfast in bed and my appetite to lay you down is amazing.

Saying I want you naked is too physical

I want your bare in front of me so you can bare it all.

Drink from your fountain of youth cause my loyalty to you comes with no last call.

Overdose on the feeling of it feeling too good when it’s raw

You’ve been shaped by your ill conceived imperfections not knowing every angle of you to me is a beauty.

The world tried to place limits. I want you to know that you can have it all.

What do I need the rest of the world for when I see the universe in you?

Calculated in the way my hands trace over your body to connect the constellations

I see the universe in you and tonight I want to stargaze

I won’t be hypocritical I will tell you my faults.

That way you can see if you want to help with my voids and be a part of my story of love

I don’t want what you show to the world.

I want you bare

I want the words you use to seduce to me to be things that are rare.

I want you here, I want you near, I want you to know that it’s real.

Tell me how you feel about all these situations that will arise.

I want your fatal flaws and common mistakes. Because where others may leave I’ll lead and stay.

Talk to me freely because what you confide in me won’t be used against you or later thrown in your face.

I want to know how to love you in the right way.

Often we fall in love with the idea of someone. We become infatuated with the potential of who they could be.

I want to know who you are

And I know that will be ever changing since you are ever growing

Philosophically speaking I think we could be defined as unconditional.

Give me your flaws and we can be everything you thought love could be
