Coachella Poem 2017: A Place Like This

I been mixing

 I been sipping

On day zero I created a world with my thoughts

So I been thinking about you lately

About how I want you in my world to share my thoughts

The combination of things in my solar system could unlock the safe to the universe

It’s you, I and the voices of all these people who came to this place because they want to escape something
Even if only for a few days that seemed like an instant
We started early in the day and took it to the night. We flew to the sun and ended up dancing with stars

I woke up to the campsite destroyed wondering how did this Ting happen to me

We all came in skeptics but the thing about humans is they all want to believe

Coachella and lust
For Coachella we have love

Location off

Fantasies turned on

Kept the City by my side but don’t tell nobody in the city where I’m at
The whispers are loud
Them cameras flash

Saturday morning I wanted to get it right

Saturday night I promptly changed my life

Figuring out exactly how to treat the good things right

I hope you miss me when you close your eyes

A Place Like This

Just enjoy the moment we don’t need to always understand

I live for these moments cause trying not to go insane is now a full time hobby

Coachella and lust

For Coachella we have love

She knows I got her

You know I got you

If we make it here together again do the roles change

Will touching the palm trees be lust and touching you be love

I woke up to the campsite destroyed wondering how did this Ting happen to me

Coachella

Lust in a place that we all loved

The allure is more powerful than the reality

The reality is Day 3 was the end of our fantasy

We all came in skeptics but the thing about humans is they all want to believe
From the Sun to the stars

Everyone wish they flew

Everybody wants to dance

 I want that feeling again
I been thinking lately about how I want you to share the thoughts in my world

Let’s create A Place Like This
